Mookata, and buffets, are two great loves of many a Singaporean. At WBL Mookata, the two come together in a wallet-friendly package at just $13.90 nett for the month of May.
Usually priced at $23.90, the restaurant kickstarted the mookata buffet promotion in conjunction with Labour Day, as well as to celebrate the opening of their new outlet at CT Hub2 in Lavender.
If you’re thinking that a buffet priced just over $10 a head is going to come with a limited selection of food, think again, because the spread purportedly has more than 50 items on the menu! They include: crayfish, oysters, scallops, prawns, abalone slices, beef, pork, pork liver, clams, and more.
There are also two different sorts of chilli dips for you to dip your mookata food in. More than that, they also serve unlimited cheese, so you can have melted cheese, and cheese pulls, to your heart’s content.
To end the buffet on a sweet note, the buffet includes a free flow of ice cream! According to WBL Mookata’s Facebook photo, there are multiple flavours available, including Durian, Lychee, Strawberry, and Coconut. Whether you prefer ice cream on a stick, or in a cup, the selection will have you sorted.
Do note that there is an additional surcharge of $3 a diner on Fridays to Sundays, as well as public holidays, and eves of public holidays, although it’s still a great deal since you’re not charged GST and service charge.
Reservations are accepted, so it’s advisable to book ahead, to avoid having to wait for a table. You may make your reservation via phone, on SMS, or through WhatsApp.
For more buffet deals, check out Swissotel Merchant Court’s high tea buffet, or Peach Garden’s a la carte buffet! Otherwise, eat dim sum to your heart’s content at Majestic Bay restaurant.
