Yummy Food Expo Has Lobster Nasi Lemak, Salted Egg Waffles And Durian Whisky From 27 to 30 June

Yummy Food Expo 2019 at Singapore Expo

If you’re feeling blue from the lack of Geylang Bazaars and Marina Carnivals in your life, Yummy Food Expo is back to fill your tummies from 27 to 30 June 2019 at Singapore Expo Hall 5.

Back for its fifth iteration, the free-entry event will house loads of mouth-watering food options like ma la beef cubes, lobster nasi lemak and brown sugar milk. Here are some stalls you can expect to find here.

1. Beef Bro (H27)

A perennial favourite at major food bazaars, Beef Bro’s juicy beef cubes come in tasty flavours like ma la, mentaiko and truffle. The first option is mixed with a generous amount of peppercorn for that lip-tingling feel.

2. Waffles Factory (N18)

Taking a page out of Fooditude’s book, Waffles Factory will be dishing out prata-waffle hybrids alongside their signature Belgian Waffles. You can expect unique dishes like the Prata Waffle Wrap Chicken Sausage, Salted Egg Waffle and Waffle Toast Chicken Ham & Cheese—all of which are savoury options that’ll fuel you up as you explore the huge event space.

3. Durian Whisky (G11)

Proving that it’s perfectly fine to consume durian and alcohol together, Durian Whisky is brewed from the flesh of Mao Shan Wang durians—giving it an intense and bitter taste. Take your durian season celebration to the next level by pairing this booze with even more durian!

4. Lobster Bro (H31)

A bro of Beef Bro, Lobster Bro will be serving their Lobster Nasi Lemak that boasts a gigantic and tender lobster with spicy sambal. That being said, if the previous Geylang Serai Ramadan Bazaar was any indication, expect this dish to cost a lot.

5. Icenoie Hokkaido (J27)

It’s hard to resist Icenoie Hokkaido’s fresh and sweet gelato, especially when they’re served with a cute bear waffle. The stall will be scooping out up to 12 decadent flavours including Hokkaido raw milk, black sesame and matcha!
