If you’ve been deep in your Pursuit of Jade era, here’s some news that’ll make your next binge session even better: Chinese actor Zhang Linghe has collaborated with instant noodle brand LaMianFan on a special cup noodle series with a “heat reveal” design.

Simply add hot water to the cup noodles, and Zhang Linghe’s face will appear on the packaging. Whether you’re a fan or just mildly curious, it’s a fun little moment before you dig in—a great excuse to take a video for the ‘gram.

For the uninitiated, Zhang Linghe is the Global Brand Ambassador for LaMianFan, a popular line of non-fried, zero-oil-fried instant noodles by Jin Mai Lang (JML). His partnership with the brand has been a big deal—he’s done promotional livestreams showing off his favourite flavours, and even trended on social media under #ZhangLingheInstantNoodle.

Fans who’ve purchased the noodles have also scored exclusive limited-edition Zhang Linghe photocards and merchandise, so keep an eye out for those.

The collab series comes in three flavours: Classic Braised Beef, Sour & Spicy Golden Broth, and Tomato Beef. All three are non-fried and zero-oil-fried. Based on online reviews, the Sour & Spicy Golden Broth seems to be a crowd favourite, boasting a tangy and spicy kick.

The limited-edition cup noodles are available at all NTUC FairPrice outlets, priced at $5.90 each. Fair warning, though, the cup noodles have already sold out at many FairPrice outlets, and we couldn’t get our hands on them. Your best bet right now is to check the NTUC FairPrice website for a restock!
