For starters, the French Onion Soup ($12.90++) feels like a warm embrace on a rainy day. This classic French dish is made with French Cevennes onions with miso beef stock, imparting a rich and umami flavour. Another French staple, the Croque Monsieur ($17.90++), showcases smoked Bayonne ham and Comte cheese sandwiched between toasted brioche slices.

For brunch lovers, Alkove Bistro offers enticing specials such as the best-selling Smoked Otah Muffin ($18.90++): English muffin buns topped with smoked ham and fluffy scrambled eggs. If you’re looking for something heartier, go for their Chicken Cordon Bleu ($22.90++), which features tender chicken breast stuffed with Camembert cheese and encased in a crispy golden breading. Alternatively, try their Duck Confit ($23.90++): slow-cooked crispy duck served with duck jus on a bed of al dente risoni and carrots.

Those with a sweet tooth will be pleased with their take on the French classic, Peach Melba—their French Toast ($15.90++) features a thick and fluffy brioche toast topped with juicy yellow peaches, tangy raspberries, and a scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream, drizzled with maple syrup.
