Coffee enthusiasts might be familiar with Allpress Espresso, a popular roastery from New Zealand that supplies beans to a handful of cafes in Singapore. Good news: the brand is launching a pop-up on 2 May 2023, right in the heart of the CBD! The new cafe, Allpress @ 73 Duxton, is located along Duxton Road—a short four-minute walk from Tanjong Pagar MRT Station.

That’s not all: from 9 to 14 May, enjoy 1-for-1 on all espresso-based coffees, as part of their opening special! These include the quintessential Flat White (U.P. $6+), Long Black (U.P. $5+), and Cappuccino (U.P. $6+). Iced drinks cost $1+ more. That means you can get a cup of coffee at only $2.50+ with the discount!

There’s also their signature Iced Latte Float (U.P. $11+), made with double espresso, fresh milk, and a heaping serving of Allpress Dulcey Latte ice cream.

Allpress Espresso fans will know that the brand uses a hot air roasting method, which ensures the coffee beans are evenly roasted for a consistent flavour throughout.

You’ll also find a small dessert menu that’s put together by The Dark Gallery. Highlights include the Vanilla Espresso Cake ($9+), Coffee Basque Cheesecake ($8+), and Affogato Sundae ($16+): vanilla and Allpress Mocha ice cream with two shots of espresso, topped with a freshly baked canele and crispy florentine. There’s also the Bagel + Artisanal Spread ($3.50+) if you prefer something savoury.

The 25-seater cafe will be around for six months only, so make sure you drop by before it’s too late!

Another CBD coffee spot worth checking out is Cloud Cafe, a brief two-minute walk from Allpress @ 73 Duxton. If you want something more substantial for lunch or dinner, visit the newest Muji Cafe in Tanjong Pagar!

Address: 73 Duxton Road, Singapore 089532
