There have been lots of pasar malam sprouting in every corner of Singapore lately, with one popping up in each neighbourhood—Woodlands pasar malam, Lakeside MRT pasar malam and more. Now, there’s one named Food Street located right outside AMK Hub. This pasar malam will only be running from now till 29 September so hurry down ASAP!Â
Expect pasar malam must-haves such as Ah Mo Thai Tea, known for their mega-sized Thai Milk Tea, Shawarma N’s popular kebabs, and the cult-classic burgers from Ramly Burger!
Start your feast at the stall selling BBQ Seafood ($6.50) in flavours such as Garlic and Mala. Choose from a wide range of seafood such as lala, scallops, prawns, oysters, and crawfish! There’s also enoki mushroom if seafood isn’t your thing.
Another hit at Food Street is the Korean Spicy Egg Roll Noodles ($6). This features spicy Korean Samyang noodles, cooked into an egg omelette that wraps a sausage, and generously layered with sliced cheese.Â
The same stall also sells various fried snacks you can munch on such as the Taiwan XXXL Crispy Chicken Chop (price TBD), Sour Plum Sweet Potato (price TBD), and Shiitake Mushroom (price TBD).
Next up, try the offerings at The Bakso Safirah. The stall specialises in various types of bakso, an Indonesian meatball, such as the Bakso Urat ($8) and Bakso Tahu ($6). The former is said to contain meat and tendons, and the latter is made with tofu skin and minced meat.Â
For international fare, there is also Siam Thailand food, serving Thai classics such as Pad Thai (price TBD) and Thai Basil Pork (price TBD).
