ICYMI: Artbox Singapore is back in 2025 for its sixth edition! The mega food and lifestyle festival, which takes place from 17 January to 19 January and 24 January to 26 January at Singapore Expo Hall 4, sees over 90 F&B vendors. If you need some inspiration on what to order, we’ve compiled a list of the 10 best things to eat at Artbox Singapore 2025—consider this your go-to food guide!
Table of Contents
The folks at Artbox have brought in After You, a famous dessert cafe from Bangkok with over 40 outlets across Thailand.
Here you’ll find the cult favourite Shibuya Honey Toast ($15.90), where a tall and thick chunk of toast is buttered generously, baked till golden, and then served with ice cream, whipped cream, and a side of honey. The sweetness of the honey complemented the slightly salted butter, while the warm and fluffy bread soaked up the rich vanilla ice cream. There’s also a Nutella Toast ($15.90) version for those who love the iconic hazelnut chocolate spread!
We’d never heard of takosen before, so we knew we had to pay Takosen by 2 Ninja 1 Fatty a visit. For the uninitiated, this dish is a popular Japanese “takoyaki sandwich” snack famous in Osaka!
Get their signature Octopus Takosen ($10), which comprises three takoyaki balls held between Japanese shrimp crackers, then topped with a sweet-savoury sauce and mayo. The savoury and doughy tako balls pair well with the crispy shrimp crackers and creamy mayo—just make sure you tuck in ASAP or the crackers become soggy after a while, based on our experience.
Make a beeline to KAOPEH!, a new kiosk specialising in kao leng mian: a popular street snack from China made with noodles, eggs, and various mix-ins.
The Original ($14) flavour stars flat noodles pan-fried on a griddle with an egg to look like a pancake, sandwiching Buldak ramyeon, sausage, thinly sliced cucumber, and lettuce. The whole shebang is glazed with a thick and sticky red sauce, before it’s garnished with shredded nori and coriander. It was savoury with a kick of spice and touch of sweetness from the sauce, but we found the price rather steep for what it comprised of. The stall also offers innovative variations such as Japan ($15), featuring teriyaki sauce and bonito flakes, and Thailand ($15), which stars green chilli sauce and shrimp.
Take a break from all the eating and recharge with a caffeinated pick-me-up at Kin Joe Coffee, which shares a stall with The Slurp Shack. We recommend their Tangerine Espresso Tonic ($7.50), a refreshing combination of zesty orange chunks, tonic water, and freshly pulled espresso.
The stall also sells Nitro Cold Brew (price TBD) for those who want a stronger cup of joe. While you’re there, snack on The Slurp Shack’s range of made-to-order crepes, in flavours such as Milo Dino ($9) and Chocolate Banana ($9).
You can get loaded jacket potatoes at Rod Dee by Joan Walker‘s kiosk, along with a small range of Thai dishes such as Boat Noodles ($8.90). For the former, we ordered Set D ($9), which features a potato stuffed with butter, cheese, sweet corn, and streaky bacon.
We found it rather pricey and wished they were more generous with the toppings. Nonetheless, the fluffy baked potato was delicious when eaten with the savoury bacon pieces and torched cheese. The corn was the cherry on top, adding bursts of sweetness to the snack.
Gyushi, which made an appearance at Artbox 2024, is back this year with their affordable Wagyu rice bowls. Their mains, which are made with beef imported from Australia, are all priced under $20 each.
Their Mentaiko Wagyu Beef Bowl ($15) is a hearty mix of pearl rice, juicy chunks of beef, and house-made mentaiko mayo, topped with an onsen egg and tobiko. If you love spice, try their Ghost Pepper Wagyu Beef Bowl ($16), which comes with a generous drizzle of spicy ghost pepper sauce!
New Italian restaurant Fortuna is showing no signs of slowing down. They’re making their debut at Artbox Singapore this year! Fans can expect a small menu here, with Italian chefs running the show.
Their Ragu Mafalde ($24+) consists of curly Malfade pasta tossed in a hearty tomato-based sauce, with meaty chunks in between. While the ragu was rich and flavourful, the pasta was unfortunately overcooked. Perhaps we caught them on a bad day, as the stall seem to have just opened while we were there! The next time we return, we’ve got our eye on the fluffy Pane Di Casa ($5+), paired with hot honey.

Nosh Bistro made headlines when they launched their XL fish and chips last year. While you won’t find the giant dish here at their food truck, they’re serving their Signature Halibut & Chips ($25.90), which is said to be equally delicious.
When we visited their restaurant in 2024, we found the fish delightfully crispy on the outside, with tender and flaky meat within. If you’re not in the mood for deep-fried food, their Artbox stall also offers a small range of pasta dishes, including Salmon Mentaiko Pasta ($21.90).
Breadfirst Everyday, which first started as a humble hawker stall in Serangoon, has set up a food truck at Artbox Singapore 2025. They offer a great selection of Muslim-friendly sliders and sides.
When we tried them at World Christmas Market last year, we were impressed with their Thai Yellow Curry Sliders with Fries ($9), where deep-fried chicken is coated in a creamy yellow curry, finished with egg and spring onions. Alternativley, their Cheesy Sliders with Fries ($9) are another great pick for those who can’t take spice.
Recurring festival favourite SOHTT has a pop-up at Artbox Singapore 2025. You won’t go wrong with their Sushi Taco ($10), available in savoury flavours including Teriyaki Unagi and Lobster Salad. This unique snack combines a crispy seaweed “taco” shell with furikake ebiko sushi rice, shredded egg, and cucumber.
If you’ve got a sweet tooth, satisfy it with their Mochi Croffle ($13), which comes in a box of three. You get to choose from flavours such as Cinnamon Sugar, Lotus Biscoff, and Nutella.
