It seems like the pistachio trend is here to stay for a while longer, what with the recent offerings of pistachio gelato, pistachio kunafa martabak manis, and now, the Pistachio Eclair Cream Puff from Beard Papa.

The dessert, priced at $5.20 per piece, usually makes an appearance during the festive period in December each year. Fans will be happy to know that it’s currently back on the menu for a limited time only!

This is one must-try for all pistachio fans as it features three layers of nutty goodness. You get a light and airy choux pastry filled with a generous amount of rich pistachio cream, topped with a layer of pistachio ganache and chopped pistachio nuts for added crunch.

Online reviewers say the dessert is well-balanced with just the right amount of sweetness, so you don’t feel jelak after having one. There seem to be mixed reviews on the taste of the puff though; some people feel that there’s a discernible pistachio butter flavour, while others say it could be nuttier.

Try it out for yourself before Beard Papa takes the festive treat off their menu!
