Pistachio lovers, this one’s for you: Matchaya has brought back their popular pistachio soft serve desserts for a limited time!

The new series features three desserts: Pistachio Soft Serve, available in a cone ($9.81) or cup ($8.72), Pistachio Parfait, and Pistachio Affogato. The soft serve and affogato are sold at all outlets except Changi Airport Terminal 3, while the parfait is only available at Takashimaya and Suntec City.

We’ve contacted the brand and will update this article with prices as soon as we hear back.

In case you didn’t know, the pistachio soft serve was first launched in 2022 to much fanfare. It’s made with premium Sicilian pistachio nuts imported from Italy, known for their natural sweetness and richness.

The sides of the cone are first dipped into crushed pistachio nuts before it’s filled with pistachio soft serve. It seems like you can pick between pistachio soft serve, or a half-half combination of pistachio and matcha flavours.

The affogato looks equally delicious; this dessert features a generous swirl of pistachio soft serve in a cup, topped with Matchaya’s matcha.

For the full experience, try the parfait instead, which combines strawberry jam, pistachio soft serve, crispy puffed rice bits, and crushed pistachios.

This new flavour will only be available for a limited time, so head down to your nearest Matchaya outlet before it’s too late!

In related pistachio news, you can now get Singapore’s first pistachio kunafa martabak manis in Paya Lebar! The thick Indonesian-style pancake is generously stuffed with crunchy phyllo pastry, nutty pistachio cream, and Nutella.

Alternatively, get the viral Dubai-inspired pistachio chocolate bars from Nova Bakehouse, an under-the-radar online bakery! These loaded bars also come in seasonal flavours such as Strawberry Cheesecake and Red Velvet.
