Get The Viral Chocolate-Coated Strawberries From London At Woodleigh Mall

Berry Bar has a chocolate-covered strawberry pop-up at The Woodleigh Mall

Those who are on social media have probably come across videos of these viral chocolate-coated strawberries from London’s Borough Market. Now, you don’t need to travel there to try this dish: Berry Bar, a local business, is currently having a pop-up at The Woodleigh Mall that offers this chocolate-covered strawberry!

This pop-up will be around from 20 to 26 May, inside the mall’s Fairprice Finest from 12pm to 9pm daily. To order, choose between a small or large cup, then select either strawberries ($9/$16), bananas ($5/$9), or a mix of both ($8/$14). Toppings such as mini marshmallows, Biscoff biscuits, and Oreo crumbs are also priced at $0.50 each.

We tried the large chocolate-coated strawberries with Oreo crumbs, and here’s our take on it: at first glance, we were handed a cup filled to the brim with big, red strawberries, drenched with a generous serving of smooth milk chocolate and topped with some Oreo crumbs.

The milk chocolate was super rich and quite sweet, but not to the point that it was too overpowering. When eaten together, the strawberries and chocolate had a creamy texture and gave off a sweet yet tangy flavour.

The addition of the Oreo crumbs was the cherry on top. They added a contrasting crunchy texture to the smooth milk chocolate and strawberries.

As this pop-up is for a limited time, be sure to try it for yourself! If Woodleigh Mall is too far for you, don’t worry; the team is heading to Jem from 3 to 9 June, then to Takashimaya from 14 June to 1 July.
