If you told me last year that White Rabbit Candy would become the new mala, I would have disagreed. After all, it’s been years since I took a bite of the sweet. But it seems that the nostalgic treat is really taking over our Little Red Dot, with many places selling White Rabbit Candy drinks. There’s even a White Rabbit Candy pop-up coming soon to Singapore that will be selling White Rabbit merchandise!

Here to get on the bandwagon is Blackball. However, the dessert joint has decided to do things a little differently by coming up with a White Rabbit Candy ice-cream instead of a milkshake. Topped with chewy pearls, the ice-cream—known as Milky Lollies Soft Serve—will be priced at $4.50. It’s a little pricey, but not enough to deter a long queue forming outside, I bet.

The ice-cream is available from now until 30 October 2019, and can be found at five outlets, namely Bugis+, Bedok Mall, Clementi Mall, Lot One and Nex.

If you’re reading this at midnight, with a kitchen full of White Rabbit Candy and ice-cream, try your hand at this easy-to-make White Rabbit Milkshake. All you will need are 12 pieces of White Rabbit Candy, vanilla ice-cream, evaporated milk and milk to make this sweet treat.
