F&N King’s Has New Matcha Sakura Potong, Made With Real Japanese Matcha

F&N King’s launches Matcha Sakura Potong ice cream

F&N King’s Potong is back with a fresh and exciting twist: the Matcha Sakura Potong. This new limited-edition ice cream pairs rich, creamy matcha made from real Japanese matcha with a sakura-flavoured chocolate coating.

The Matcha Sakura Potong sticks with the classic square shape that we all know and love. But this time, it’s been given a modern upgrade with a sakura chocolate coating that adds a subtle floral sweetness and a satisfying crunch.

Inside, the earthy matcha ice cream is perfectly balanced by the delicate sweetness of the sakura coating.

The matcha flavour is on the lighter side, making it a good option even for those who aren’t big fans of green tea. It reminded us of Pocky biscuit sticks, with a subtle floral fragrance that lingers. The chocolate coating adds a satisfying crunch and an extra layer of sweetness.

It’s not too sweet, either, so you won’t feel jelak after indulging in one (or three)!

Available while stocks last, the Matcha Sakura Potong is halal-certified and priced at $1.50 per stick or $7.75 for a box of six. You can grab it at major supermarkets and convenience stores around Singapore.

If you’re looking for something new to cool off with, this seasonal treat is definitely worth a try. But hurry—this limited-edition ice cream won’t be around for long, so make sure to get yours before it’s gone!

In other dessert news, Burnt Cones has opened a 24/7 outlet in the CBD! You can enjoy their $1 gelato promotion from now till 20 March 2026, 12pm to 4pm daily.
