Fans of Brawn & Brains Coffee might have noticed that the popular cafe has temporarily closed its shutters at its Guillemard Road location due to renovation works. Not to fret, though—the team has launched a new cafe along Hamilton Road, a convenient five-minute walk from Bendemeer MRT Station!

The new cafe is still in its soft launch phase, so full mains and savoury bites are yet to be available. In the meantime, you can indulge in barista-brewed coffee and freshly baked pastries in the likes of BB Donuts ($4.20+) stuffed with locally inspired fillings such as Milo Custard and house-made Kaya.

There’s also the Lemon Curd or Zesty Lime Curd option if you want something more tangy and refreshing. Wash it all down with a cup of joe; popular picks include the Iced White ($5.50+) and Caffe Mocha ($6.50+).

Brawn & Brains is also known for their Babka Loaf, available in two flavours: Blueberry Streusel ($18+) and Dark Chocolate ($16+). You can pre-order these, along with the doughnuts, and collect your bakes from their Hamilton outlet. For the full details, visit their website.

The all-new cafe sports a clean and minimal aesthetic with wood furnishings, white walls, and black accents. It’s spacious with a variety of seating options to choose from, including benches by the window for those snapping pics, and counter seats if you wish to catch the baristas in action.

If you’re craving more than just pastries and coffee, head to Brawns & Brains’ East Coast branch instead to fill up on hearty mains. The minimalistic cafe has been open since 2013, serving brunch favourites including Fresh Avocado on Toast ($16.50+) and Classic Pancakes ($16+). Their Cast Iron Grilled Masala Chicken Taco ($18+) is another best-seller.

If you’re in the Jalan Besar area, check out the nearby La Levain, a minute-walk away from Brawn & Brains Hamilton. Otherwise, take a bus down to Crawford Lane and visit Whisking Bakes for orh nee-infused desserts, drinks and more!
