There’s no better place to get brunch at any point in the day than at Bread First Everyday! Helmed by an ex-Nara Thai Cuisine head chef, this cafe-inspired hawker stall is hidden in a corner of Mee Sek Food Court. They serve a delicious array of brunch food and have also made an appearance at the recent Artbox 2023!

Waffles are a must-have at most brunch places, so be sure to try the Chicken Cutlet on Waffle ($10.90) here. It’s said to boast a buttery and milky taste, with a crisp exterior and fluffy texture that complements the silky scrambled eggs and fried chicken cutlet. Be sure to drizzle some maple syrup and smear some butter on top for the perfect sweet-savoury combination.

The Rosti Platter ($10.90) is an equally delicious pick. For the uninitiated, rosti is essentially a fried pancake made of shredded potatoes. Here, they make it fresh in-house daily, and it comes with sour cream, scrambled eggs, a juicy pork sausage, and some salad.

If that’s not enough, get the best of both worlds with the Big Bear’s Breakfast ($35.90). It has waffles, pork sausages, chicken chop, fries, sauteed mushrooms, and salad served with scrambled eggs—you can also choose to have it as a sunny-side up.

If you’d like, you can add on any side of your choice such as Cocktail Sausages ($3), Hashbrown ($2), Baked Beans ($1.50), and Caramelised Onions ($1.50)!
