Casa Vostra To Open In Jurong East With Popular Pizzas, Pastas And More

Casa Vostra is opening at JEM in September 2025

Good news for Casa Vostra fans: the ever-popular Italian restaurant will open its second outlet at JEM in September 2025. That means Westies no longer have to travel far for their signature pizzas and pastas!

For the uninitiated, Casa Vostra first opened at Raffles City to much fanfare in July 2024. Chef Antonio Miscellaneo’s renowned pizzas continue to draw long queues, with the hype showing no signs of fading.

Casa Vostra’s pizzas are divided into three categories: Newpolitan Red, Newpolitan White, and Doublecrunch. The Newpolitan Red pizzas use a rich tomato-based sauce, while those of the Newpolitan White series use a creamy cheese sauce. Those who wish to try a more innovative offering can go for the Doublecrunch pizzas, which are a sandwich-like creation that features fillings within two layers of pizza dough.

The restaurant’s signatures are the Gamberi ($28++) and the Tatufo e Funghi ($28++). The Gamberi features the Newpolitan Red base with fresh Argentinian Prawns, while the Tartufo e Funghi is topped with fresh black truffle, mushrooms, and a hearty drizzle of truffle oil. We love the crust on all their pizzas—crispy yet soft and chewy, with an addictive smoky flavour.

If you are feeling adventurous, go for the Acciughe ($20++), which is uniquely topped with anchovies. Paired with the Newpolitan White sauce, the briny anchovies went well with the olives and yellow tomatoes to create a harmonious balance of sea and land.

On our previous visit, Casa Volstra newly launched their Prosciutto e Fichi ($27++), which had a great combination of sweet and savoury: Parma ham and a fig puree, accompanied by a special cheese called Fiordilatte—basically a fresher version of mozzarella. We loved the elevated take on the familiar Parma ham pizza, and would recommend giving this a try.

Those who crave pasta can try the Mamma’s Aglio e Olio ($15++), which is a hearty take on the classic aglio olio, featuring the strong umami flavour of sundried tomatoes. The pasta is perfectly al dente with a firm bite, and showcases how a dish’s simplicity can be its strong suit.

If you can’t wait to get your tastebuds on Casa Vostra’s dishes, their Raffles City outlet is currently running promotions in celebration of their first anniversary. From now till 31 July 2025, diners can order their limited-time-only Wagyu Bresaola Pizza ($32++), and enjoy 1-for-1 Ballinis—the restaurant’s take on the classic Bellini cocktail—on weekdays from 3pm to 6pm.
