Chez Suzette is a French cafe in Chinatown

For anyone who wants to live out your dreams of partaking in Parisian cafe culture, sipping a coffee cup or glass of wine at a tiny table by the road, skip the flight to Paris and instead head to this cafe in Chinatown. Charming cafe by day and romantic restaurant at night, Chez Suzette serves up all the fancy French fare you know and love.

Chez Suzette is actually named after its co-owner Suzette, who previously worked at three-Michelin starred fine dining restaurant Joël Robuchon with her partner, Jonathan. This classy, bright eatery has two floors and an outdoor area, where you are invited to relax and enjoy the good food and homely atmosphere.

Choose from a wide range of food available, with a brunch menu from 9am to 5pm featuring items such as Croque Monsieur ($22++), a gooey, savoury grilled ham and cheese sandwich with sourdough toast, Comte cheese and bechamel sauce.

Chez Suzette’s dessert menu consists of crepes, pancakes, and ice cream. It’s only fitting to try Chez Suzette’s Crepes Suzette ($17++), a French classic that is drenched in a tangy housemade sauce made from oranges.

You can also top-up $5 to set your crepes on fire! The crepes will be flambeed tableside with Grand Marnier, making for a really cool, IG-worthy video to show off to all your friends.

If you are in the mood for a glass, you can choose from a diverse array from the different regions of France, to select wines from other wine-producing countries around the world.
