Acclaimed cinnamon roll bakery, Cinnabon, arrived in Singapore with quite the splash. Its flagship in Raffles City sported long queues, with fans lining up to get their hands on the brand’s flavoured cinnamon rolls. Since then, the brand has announced that they’ll have a second outlet opening in ION Orchard.
A brand representative confirmed with Eatbook.sg that the soft launch is happening this Sunday, 17 September at 10am. The outlet is located in the mall’s basement four.
If you’ve not yet had your first Cinnabon experience, here’s a little lowdown on the brand: the bakery operates in over 48 countries, with 1,200 outlets worldwide. They were first founded in 1985, in Seattle, and have grown in strides since.
They’ve made a name for themselves off their signature Cinnabon ($6.80), a sticky cinnamon bun glazed with a gooey cream cheese frosting. Best enjoyed warm, these are super addictive and great as a midday snack. Accompanying their signature Cinnabon is a line-up of flavoured cinnamon buns, available in flavours such as caramel pecan or chocolate.
If the full-sized buns here are too much, and you’re wary of them getting jelak, the eatery also has small MiniBons from $4.20. These smaller-sized options are available in three flavours: the original, chocolate, and caramel pecan.
Aside from the sweet snacks, Cinnabon also sells their famed Chillattas ($6.50)—an ice blended frappucino with flavours such as Cinnamon Caramel and OREO Cookies & Cream.
The ION Orchard Cinnabon outlet will be takeaway only.
