Update (21 July 2021): In view of the suspension on dining in, the Basilico and Ichiban Boshi deals have been cancelled.
I’m always on the lookout for dining deals that allow me to make the most of my pennies. Credit card dining programmes are usually my pick of the lot, partnered with myriad hotel restaurants, and eateries that would otherwise make dining out more painful on the wallet. Here’s where Citi’s all-new and revamped Citi Gourmet Pleasures comes into the picture, kicking off its brand-new look with a slew of weekly $1 food deals for Citi Cardmembers to uncover the pleasures in life.
In short, look forward to four weeks of $1 festivities with Citi Gourmet Pleasures! Running from 9 July to 5 August 2021, all you have to do is download, log in, and flash the offer on the Citi Mobile App, or on the Citi Gourmet Pleasures website to enjoy these great deals.
First up on the calendar of $1 deals is Paradise Dynasty, the Paradise Group’s xiao long bao and la mian arm. From 9 to 15 July, or until all 2000 baskets are fully redeemed, enjoy six Original Xiao Long Bao (U.P $7.50++/$8.50++) for just $1, with a minimum spend of $50++. Do remember to flash the deal on your Citi Mobile App, or visit the Citi Gourmet Pleasures website, ahead of ordering.
While you’re at it, have some of their La Mian with Crispy Pork Chop in Signature Pork Bone Soup ($13.80++), or La Mian with ‘Dan Dan’ Sauce ($8.80++) for noodles drenched in a rich, spicy, peanut-based gravy. Finish off the meal on a sweet note with the Pan-fried Pancake with Red Bean Paste ($7.80++).
