SG’s Biggest Food Container Park Opens With 13 Stalls And IG-Worthy Views Of Changi Airport

Cosford Container Park opens in Changi with 13 food stalls

Good news for those who live in the East: Cosford Container Park has officially opened! Touted as “Singapore’s largest outdoor F&B container park”, the new food park is home to 13 stalls, along with a spacious dining area that boasts panoramic views of Changi Airport’s landing strip.

The sprawling container park, which opens till 1am daily, offers both indoor and outdoor seats that hold up to 340 diners. There are plans to roll out live music performances and sports screenings, too.

On the food front, look forward to 13 stalls ranging from seafood zi char to hot-off-the-grill Taiwanese skewers. Come evening, unwind with a sundowner or two; beers, tipples, and mocktails match the chill vibes at Cosford Container Park.

If you’re out to splurge, pop by The Singapore Blue Lobster for some freshly grilled lobsters and crabs.

The Cheese Overload Grilled Lobster ($26.90) comes with two lobster halves topped with lots of cheese, then fired upon order. We found the lobster fresh and sweet, though the cheese was a tad overpowering—the Dill & Lemon Butter ($24.90) might have been a better option!

Another noteworthy stall is Let’s BBQ Bar, which offers Taiwanese skewers. Simply pick out the items you’d like and inform the stall of your preferred spice level: mild, medium, or extra spicy.

The skewers are coloured according to their price, which starts at $1.80 and goes up to $5.80. The selection is impressive, from fresh veggies and mushrooms to squid and innards!

You can also get your Korean fried chicken here at ETC (Eat That Chicken).

They’ve got a small range of beer-friendly bites: think Tteokbokki ($10.90), and 10-Piece Winglets and Drumlets ($19.90) in flavours such as Hot & Spicy and Soy Garlic.

Otherwise, drop by Hello Butter Chicken, Michelin star Chef Manjunath Mural’s latest venture.

Try their signature HBC Butter Chicken Pot ($16), comprising tender chicken kebab pieces drenched in a rich butter chicken sauce, served alongside garlic naan.

Else, their Chicken Burger ($14) is an interesting pick; this comes with fried chicken tossed in house-made butter chicken sauce, topped with turkey bacon, fresh veggies, and cheese, packed between pink beetroot-infused buns.

If the dishes above aren’t up your alley, there’s Boon Tat Street Barbeque Seafood, which offers a plethora of seafood and zi char dishes cooked in house-made sambal paste. You’ll also find Streets of Bangkok for hearty Thai fare and Ishiro, which serves Japanese-inspired donburi rice bowls.

Besides the main dining area, Cosford Container Park also has a rooftop bar on the second floor: School of Cambridge. The alfresco bar serves cocktails and a separate menu of bar bites, so you won’t go hungry while watching the planes take off.
