Hotel buffets in Singapore tend to cost a pretty penny, but that’s not the case at Fraser Changi City. Their in-house restaurant, Cosmo Dining, has an ongoing Wellness Lunch Buffet that sets you back at just $29.90++ per person—a total steal considering the spread you get.
One of the highlights here is that you ou get three types of free-flow seafood: live poached prawns, white clams, and black mussels. Each can be accompanied by your choice of dipping sauce, whether it be Thai chilli, Tabasco, or a lemon wedge.
The appetiser selection also comes with two different soups and four different salads daily that you can pick from. These range from Asian options—think double-boiled soups and Thai salads—to classic Western fare.

Adding to that is a range of Build Your Own Stations, where you can DIYÂ sandwiches, local noodle dishes, salads, and popiah.
The buffet also has five hot dish categories, each also sporting a rotating menu, with one main dish to choose from daily.Â

On the seafood front, there are dishes such as Steamed Seabass with Lime Garlic Sauce, or free-flow Sambal Mussels.Â
Load up on protein at the chicken and beef stations, which may have the likes of Teriyaki Chicken and Chicken Masala, as well as Irish Beef Stew when you arrive.

Don’t skip on the veggies and beancurd section, which changes daily. Most of the dishes on the menu are classic Asian veggie or tofu dishes.Â
Finally, end off the savouries with carbs. Each day offers either noodles, pasta, or rice dishes, from ee fu noodles to mac & cheese.
Naturally, you should save room for dessert. A range of hot and cold desserts are available, from Taiwanese sponge cakes and butter blondies to cheng tng and tau suan.
While the selection may not be as huge as other hotel buffets, Cosmo Dining’s Wellness Lunch Buffet still offers excellent value for money, so check them out if you’re looking for a budget buffet option.
The buffet is available from 12pm to 2:30pm daily. You can take a look at the menu here.
