It’s not an exaggeration to say that matcha latte has taken over social media platforms, with every other content creator creating their rendition of the frothy, vibrant green beverage. If you’re a fan like us, here’s a new spot to check out this weekend: Creamie Sippies. FYI, this new under-HDB cafe operates as a takeaway kiosk.
All specialty matcha and coffee drinks here are served in a 500ml cup, which is bigger than what you’d usually get at most cafes. These XL drinks are not all—you can customise your drink according to the sugar level, milk and ice options, and matcha type. Plus, there’s the option to top your drink with cold foam if you like it extra creamy and fluffy.
There are six specialty matcha drinks to choose from, all priced at $8.90 each. The Strawberry Matcha Latte or Mango Matcha Latte is great if you like a bit of sweetness to your drinks! Else, the Sparkling Yuzu Matcha is the way to go for a winning combination of tangy and earthy flavours.
We all know that strawberry matcha has been the it drink lately, but the Coconut Matcha Cloud is another unique creation that’s slowly gaining popularity among matcha lovers. Smooth and refreshing, the coconut water helps quell the rich and creamy mouthfeel you often get in a regular matcha latte.
Matcha aside, you can expect six interesting coffee drinks here, including Lavender Honey Latte, Banana Bread Latte, and Cookie Butter Latte. These are all priced at $8.90 each!
Do note that Creamie Sippies is a takeaway kiosk with no dine-in seats. The new kiosk is tucked away in a residential area, and you have to take a bus from Commonwealth MRT Station to get there.
