Delicato Has New Mini Sausages And Garlic Pork Bratwurst, An Easy Way To Zhng Up Your Meals

Delicato launches new mini sausages for fuss-free meals

Most weeknights or work-from-home (WFH) days, I’m so time-pressed that meals tend to be more of a chore than a pleasure. To make sure I eat my fill but don’t spend too much time in the kitchen, I find myself often shopping for easy ingredients I can add to simple recipes, or as toppings for ready-made meals. If you’re in the same boat, let me introduce you to Delicato’s new line of sausages—a great addition to your fuss-free meals.

Delicato, available exclusively at FairPrice, is a brand that specialises in Western gourmet meats. You may know them for their wide range of bratwurst sausages, smoked duck, and sliced hams. Recently, they’ve expanded their range to include three new items: Little Smokies Pork Sausage ($6.95), Little Smokies Chicken Sausage ($6.95), and Garlic Bratwurst Pork Sausage ($9.11). Delicato’s products are made with premium quality meat with no artificial colourings, so you can be assured you’re getting top quality here.

The first two Little Smokies are essentially mini sausages. They’re fantastic additions to a quick and easy meal, such as a one-pot casserole, or as small bites to enjoy when you’re hosting at home. 

One of my favourite ways to have the Little Smokies is as an add-on to a quick and easy tteokbokki recipe, or as a protein for a simple pasta.

If you’re having people over, serve these as mini skewers with fresh cherry tomatoes and pineapple chunks for pops of freshness, or warmed up in a bowl with olives and potato chips alongside, aperitif-style. 

The pork version is lightly smoky, while the chicken is juicy and milder, but no less delicious.

The full-sized Garlic Bratwurst Pork Sausage is another must-have if you’re a fan of garlicky food. The pork mince is infused with fresh garlic, so there are strong hints of the allium, but don’t worry, it’s not too overpowering.

Cook this in a pan till it sizzles, and enjoy this with a simple, ready-to-eat pasta, or sliced up and tossed in fried rice. It’s also great as a topping for instant noodles on days you’re feeling extra lazy—it’s definitely a more premium option than your usual hotdog or frank.
