5 Dishes You Need To Try This Week (15/6/15)

1.Steak & Fries ($23) – House of Dandy

Source

Probably the most interesting take on Steak & Fries on the island since you decided to dip it in your momma’s BBQ sauce. The steak is smoked and grilled to perfection and the fries are double fried for extra crisp.

Address: 74 Tras Street
Opening Hours: Monday to Saturday- 5pm to 1am.

2.Duck Confit ($42) – Absinthe

Source

This is the dish that elevated duck as my favorite meat. With that crispy exterior and juicy insides full of rich and gamey flavour, it may not be for everyone, but it’s certainly for me.

Address: 75 Boat Quay
Opening Hours: 12pm – 230pm (Mon – Fri) /6pm – 11pm(Mon – Sun)

3.Sambal Fries ($10) – Meatliqour

These killer fries by the newly opened Meatliqour are the perfect accompaniment for any beer or cocktail. It’s pleasantly spicy, crunchy, and made extra savory with that sunny side up on top.

Address : 99 Duxton Road
Opening Hours: Tuesday – Fridays: 5pm to 2am, Saturdays: 5pm to 3am

4.Stir-Fried Mince Beef  ($25) – Long Chim

Source

Get blasted by the aroma and fragrance of Long Chim’s minced beef. In fact, any dish here would have the same effect. With their reasonable prices and extra strong flavours, it’s my to go restaurant in Marina Bay Sands. Just remember to order some rice to keep things mellow.

Address: #02-02 The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands
Opening Hours: Daily 6pm-10pm

5.Chicken & Waffles ($20) – The Beast

Source

I know, I couldn’t stop staring at it for at least 10 minutes either. I’ve tasted this bad boy though and you’d be doing yourself a great disservice for missing this guy out. Crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside, it goes great with those savory waffles thatsoak up the juices from the chicken and the gravy.

Address : 17 Jalan Klapa
Opening Hours:

Mon – Wed 5pm till 12am
Thurs & Fri 5pm till 1am
Saturdays 5pm till 12am
Sundays 10am till 5pm

Hi, I'm the guy that writes food articles that eventually ends up here. I'm usually writing, eating or watching food videos on youtube. When I'm not doing that, I read comic books and cry about my favorite dead Game Of Thrones characters. :(
