Taiwanese food seems to be getting more popular, with more Taiwanese eateries popping up in Singapore over the recent years. Just take a look at TaiWan Night Markets and Shinfuni, a new Taiwanese-inspired bakery in Bugis! Do Qoo is another worthy contender that has come through with their wallet-friendly Taiwanese desserts. The halal brand has five outlets across the island today.

There are five signature desserts here that are said to be the most popular: Matcha Made In Heaven, Yours Taroly, Golden Beauty, Snow Fairy, and Loving Youth. Each bowl is priced at $4.30!

Matcha fans will surely fancy their Matcha Made In Heaven, which comprises a variety of jellies, such as matcha jelly, grass jelly, and soy jelly. You also get a huge serving of azuki beans to enhance the overall sweetness of this delectable treat.

Yours Taroly is another bestseller that features a soy pudding and grass jelly base topped with taro cubes, colourful abacus seeds, and lychee pop.

Alternatively, you can DIY your own bowl of dessert from $4.30. Start with your two base choices, followed by two types of toppings. Six pieces of taro cubes and soy cream will be added as the finishing touches! There’s fun in creating your own bowl as there’s a good range of toppings to choose from, such as Blue Pea Jelly, Brown Sugar Jelly, Chendol, Rice Balls, and Mango.
