Don Don Donki Is Opening At Northpoint City Soon

Don Don Donki Northpoint City Yishun

Northsiders, get excited, because Don Don Donki (DDDK) has announced that it is coming to Northpoint City soon! While exact dates aren’t available yet, we know for sure that the beloved Japanese supermarket is going to open in Q4 of 2022, at basement one of the mall’s North Wing.

The Yishun Don Don Donki outlet will be styled like a safari, with animal decals and themed decor. If you want to win VIP passes to skip the queue on opening day and nab a goodie bag, then stay tuned to DDDK’s Facebook and Instagram pages, as there will be a contest launching soon.

We will update this article when we get more information about the opening, but it’s safe to say that Yishun dwellers can look forward to getting their hands on DDDK’s goodies with ease.

In the meantime, the supermarket has recently revamped their City Square Mall dining hall, so customers can enjoy their affordable Japanese fare, with more options now available. The first new store is Katsudon Katsumitei, where you can get a variety of katsu dishes, typically priced under $10.

There will also be hamburg steak specialist Tomi Hamburg Steak, and an onigiri booth Tomita Seimai, opening at City Square Mall.

If you’re not familiar with the latter, the onigiri kiosk makes their onigiri fresh in a variety of authentic Japanese flavours, prepared with premium pearl grain rice.

They also mill Japanese rice in-house!

Finally, DDDK has announced that their famed Wagyu kushi skewers are now available at four outlets, instead of just at 100AM. You can now get them at Clarke Quay, JCube, and City Square Mall too. Each skewer comes with 100% Japanese Wagyu beef, and is only $4.90 each.

Address: 930 Yishun Ave 2, Singapore 769098
