Eatigo Is Having A One-Day-Only 50% Discount For Its 16 Restaurants On Hump Day

Eatigo’s one-day-only WOW Wednesday promotion

As a foodie on a budget, I’m always on the lookout for life hacks that can help me save money while feasting. Eatigo needs no introduction to those like me. This reservations app and website lets us get discounts up to 50% at over 550 restaurants. The only catch is that you’ll have to wait till off-peak hours to get the best deal.

On 14 March, Eatigo is offering a 50% discount at 16 restaurants all day! These restaurants offer various cuisines, and are located all around Singapore so you won’t have to travel far just to save moolah. Here are 10 we recommend for good grub that is made affordable.

1. Mookata (ORTO)

Bulk up with free-flow meats, seafood, and veggies at Mookata’s ORTO outlet. Their Ala Carte Mookata Buffet ($12.95++, U.P. $25.90++) lets you have as much meat as you want within 80 minutes. Make your money’s worth by grilling a spread of pork collar, prawns, and chicken thigh. Make a reservation with Eatigo at Mookata’s ORTO outlet to get the 50% discount!

There is always an occasion for Korean fried chicken. Chicken Up’s got various flavours of fried chicken, from the basic ganjang (soya) to sticky sweet yangnyum. Aside from chicken, be sure to also get their Yangpa Bomb ($6++, U.P. $12++), which is a beautifully fried onion. Their Bulgogi Pancake ($9++, U.P. $18++) is a must-have as well, if you’re into juicy beef tucked between two layers of savoury Korean pancake. Bear in mind that only their Parkway Parade outlet offers the 50% discount with Eatigo, so remember to jio your kakis to the right outlet!

Address: 80 Marine Parade Road, #01-10, Parkway Parade, Singapore 449269

3. Issho Izakaya

Issho Izakaya is where I’d go to for simple yet satisfying Japanese food. This Salmon Ikura Don ($11++, U.P. $22++) doesn’t stinge on those precious orange roe, which lie atop a bed of salmon sashimi. For more variety in your meal, go for their Bara Chirashi Don ($11.90++, U.P. $23.80++) instead. This crowd-favourite comes with chunks of salmon, tuna, and amberjack sashimi. It is also topped with a raw quail egg, making it a little different from the usual. For those who live around Punggol, their sister restaurant, Issho Family Restaurant at SAFRA Punggol, is also offering the 50% discount on 14 March!

Address: 1 Stadium Place, #01-13/K5, Kallang Wave Mall, Singapore 397628
Opening hours: Sun-Thur 10am to 10pm, Fri-Sat & eve of PH 10am to 10:30pm

Don’t miss out on their Seafood Platter ($19++, U.P. $38++), which comes with oysters, crab legs, prawns, and half a Boston lobster!

It’s a pricey affair, so grab onto the Eatigo discount and head down on 14 March. You’ll be greeted with French, Canadian and American Oysters, along with more fresh seafood including prawns and scallops. Hot dishes are a must, so get ready to pile your plate with paella and chilli crab as well.

6. Panko

Opened just last year, Panko is where you should go for some really good fried food. This kushikatsu restaurant offers more than 30 fried skewers on the menu, and since you’ve got a 50% discount, order their expensive stuff to #treatyoself. Salmon Ikura ($4++, U.P. $8++) and Wagyu w/ Black Vinegar Sauce ($4++, U.P. $8++) are two I’d go for. Alternatively, spare yourself the headache of choosing and go straight for their Assorted Seasonal Kushikatsu Moriawase ($11.50++, U.P. $23++) – a six-piece set that comes with vegetables, seafood, and chicken.

Address: 31 Arab Street, Singapore 189197
Opening hours: Daily 12pm to 3pm, 6pm to 12am
Reserve now

7. King Ohmii

With dishes such as Pork Belly With Garden Pickle ($6++, U.P. $12++) and Black Truffle And Wild Mushroom Fettucine ($14++, U.P. $28++), it’s hard to say no to a meal at King Ohmii. Those with a penchant for sweet things can end the toothsome meal with treats such as Delicate Chocolate Lava Cake ($10++) and Lemon Curd Crunch ($12++). What’s more, this sophisticated spot is found at Robertson Quay, making it an immediate win for romantic date nights.

Address: 11 Unity Street, #01-18, Robertson Walk, Singapore 237995
Opening hours: Sun-Thur 4pm to 1am, Fri-Sat 4pm to 3am

8. Meats N Malts

Seek refuge from the hustle and bustle at Meats N Malts. This chill spot at Tai Seng offers classic Western fare, such as pizza, pasta, salads, and plenty of meat. Their Carnivore ($12.40++, U.P. $24.80++) platter comes with chicken wings, ribs, chicken and beef satay, fries, and a grilled pork sausage. Even the hungriest carnivore would probably find it hard to finish it all, so be sure to split it with a friend. To avoid a meat overdose, get their Carbonara ($6.90++, U.P. $13.80++) instead. This tasty dish is made with bacon, ham, mushroom, and a generous sprinkle of Parmesan.

Address: 30 Tai Seng Street, #01-07, BreadTalk IHQ, Singapore 534013
Opening hours: Daily 11:30am to 12am

9. Don’t Tell Mama

Head to Don’t Tell Mama to up your street cred. This Korean bistro and bar serves a wide range of bites, but what you must try is their mandu (Korean dumplings). Ask for Galbi Jjin Mandu ($4++, U.P. $8++ for six pieces) and get ready to bite into juicy parcels of grilled beef rib and vegetables. Be sure to order their IG-worthy drinks as well, such as the refreshing Mango Beerita ($22++), but note that drinks are not included in the discount.

And don’t stuff yourself with salmon sashimi at the start, ‘cause what’s most popular here is their desserts. You’ll see a variety of cakes in flavours such as matcha and chocolate fudge. Other pastries including eclairs and bread pudding are usually available as well.

Address: 60 Eu Tong Sen Street, Furama City Centre, Singapore 059804
