World-Famous Eggslut To Open In Suntec City

Eggslut is opening soon at Suntec City

Breaking news: world-famous Eggslut is coming soon to Suntec City with their iconic egg sammies and more. There’s no fixed opening date yet, but they’re slated to hit the sprawling mall sometime later this year. With only two months left on the clock, that’s really soon, to say the least.

Only 11 years after they first started out as a food truck in Los Angeles, Eggslut can now be found in Korea, Japan, the UK, and Kuwait, with Singapore being their very first Southeast Asian outpost—and now we’re set to have two branches!

This opening comes just a year and a bit after Eggslut at Scotts Square first opened, drawing snaking queues for their famous egg sandwiches.

If you still haven’t been to Eggslut, here’s what to start your adventure with at their new Suntec City outlet: the Fairfax Sandwich ($12), where cage-free eggs are scrambled, then paired with chives, caramelised onions, cheddar cheese, and Sriracha mayo, squished in a fluffy brioche bun.

It gets a bit jelak, so you could consider adding applewood smoked bacon ($3), a beef patty ($4), or avo ($2.50) to this burger!

Meat lovers should definitely go for the Gaucho Sandwich ($23), which comes layered with seared Wagyu tri-tip steak, a cage-free, over medium egg, chimichurri sauce, red onions, and dressed arugula.

Otherwise, other options to go for include Bacon, Egg & Cheese Sandwich ($12), or Sausage, Egg & Cheese Sandwich ($12). The former comes with chipotle ketchup, while the latter stars a house-made chicken sausage, and honey mustard aioli.

For a small bite, the Slut ($11) is another of Eggslut’s bestselling items, where you’ll get a glass jar of house-made potato puree topped with a coddled egg, which is similar to, but not quite like, a soft-boiled egg. It comes finished with chopped chives and grey salt, and is accompanied with slices of toasted bread to dip in.

We’ll definitely be updating this post with more information on the opening when we have it, but in the meantime, make your very own Eggslut Fairfax at home! While you wait for the opening, check out our review of Eggslut Singapore.
