FairPrice Has Potato Chips In Yusheng, Bak Kwa, And Tomato Hotpot Flavours

FairPrice has new CNY potato chips for 2025

Shortly after launching the viral fried chicken and roasted corn cashews, FairPrice is back with yet another innovative series. This time, it’s Chinese New Year-inspired potato chips!

You can look forward to three new FairPrice CNY potato chips: Bak Kwa, Tomato Hotpot, and Yusheng with Plum Sauce. These are available at $2.50 per packet for a limited time only.

The bak kwa flavour is a nod to the classic BBQ pork snack we’re familiar with. The potato chips are slightly smoky and sweet, with a faint savouriness that mimics meat.

If you’d like something lighter on the palate, get the yusheng flavour instead.

While these chips taste nothing like fresh veggies or raw fish, they are coated in a sweet and zesty seasoning that reminds us of plum sauce.

Our favourite flavour is the Tomato Hotpot, inspired by the popular soup found at most steamboat joints.

Sporting a tomato-red colour, these potato chips are deliciously savoury, tangy, and sweet all at once. They actually taste like the real thing!

You can also stock up on the Salted Egg Fish Skin ($6.80, U.P. $8) snack for CNY. These crispy fish skin chips are packed with umami from the salted egg seasoning.

Shop these treats at all FairPrice outlets for a limited time only!

In related food news, Mister Donut’s Pikachu doughnuts are back in stores until 2 February 2025. Alternatively, try Beard Papa’s new taro and black sesame cream puffs, available at $4.80 each.
