Funan Launches Dining Deals After 6pm—1-For-1 Cakes, Free Kebabs And More

Funan has affordable dining deals after 6pm

If you’re looking for something to uplift your mood on a dreary weekday, you’ve come to the right place. From now to 27 October 2023, Funan is rolling out a series of dining deals that you can enjoy after 6pm.

Over at 5 Senses Bistro, those dining in can get 20% off their second main. The fusion restaurant serves mouthwatering meats including Char Siu Chicken Thigh (U.P. $15.90++) and Angus Braised Beef Cheek (U.P $24.90++), paired with two sides. They also have an interesting White Seafood Crabmeat Pasta (U.P. $18.90++) for those who want more carbs!

For special occasions, head to Godmama, tucked on the fourth floor of the mall. If you’re visiting for dinner, try the mod-Peranakan restaurant’s signature Ayam Buah Keluak ($23.90++): Nyonya-style chicken stew with buah keluak, blue ginger, and turmeric. To make things sweeter, from 6pm onwards, grab two Gingerflower Martinis at $30++, which means each is priced at just $15++! This tipple usually goes for $20++, so it’s definitely a steal—especially if you’re a cocktail fan.

If you have a sweet tooth, celebrate the end of a long day at the office with 1-for-1 cakes and pastries at PPP Coffee, located on the second floor of the mall. Highlights include Blueberry Lavender Cake and Chocolate Banana Cake, both priced at $7.50 each before the discount—with the deal, you’re only paying around $3.75 per cake!

Otherwise, for something more filling, dabao your dinner from Kebabs Faktory. After 6pm, buy two Kebab Wraps to enjoy a free one on the house! Choose from meaty picks such as Chicken Tikka (U.P. $9.90) and Lamb (U.P. $13.90), or go for something less sinful with the meat-free Falafel (U.P. $7.90) wrap. Do note that the free wrap is only limited to Chicken, Falafel, and Paneer flavours.

Alternatively, visit Wayang for a quick grab-and-go fix. The Indonesian-inspired takeaway kiosk is located on Basement 2 of Funan. Buy one rice box and get a free drink of your choice: Ice Milk Tea (U.P. $3.20), Ice Milk Coffee (U.P. $3.20), Lime Juice (U.P. $2.90) or Ice Barley (U.P. $2.90). There’s a wide selection of rice boxes for you to choose from, including their signature Wayang Chicken ($8.80), which comes with crispy chicken chunks, and Peaking Duck ($12.50): deep-fried duck leg, a fried egg, and a dollop of spicy sambal on rice.
