We Tried Gardenia’s New Instant Chocolate Malt Drink So You Don’t Have To

Gardenia has new Chocolate Malt Drink at major supermarkets

ICYMI: Popular home-grown bakery Gardenia has just launched their Chocolate Malt Drink. Made with real cocoa, the new drink can be found at all major supermarkets islandwide.

Priced at $7, each packet of the Chocolate Malt Drink comes with 13 sachets of powdered hot chocolate.

FYI, as part of their launch promo, you can save a dollar when you get two packs for $13. Be sure to head down soon, as the deal is only available till 28 February 2026 or while stocks last.

The drink is quick and easy to make—just pour in the powder, add in 200ml of warm or hot water, stir, and enjoy!

Satisfyingly smooth and creamy, the light chocolate drink is the perfect start to any morning. It had a pleasant maltiness, similar to Horlicks, with a sweetness that was noticeably milder than Milo.

Pro-tip: Add in a couple of ice cubes after all the powder has been blended in, and you’ve got yourself a refreshing cup of iced chocolate for a mid-day treat.

If you’ve been watching your sugar intake, fret not. The drink is certified as a Healthier Choice product and Nutri Grade B by the Health Promotion Board, so you can enjoy your drink guilt-free.

Better yet, it’s made with 25% less sugar than most malted drinks, and even enriched with calcium, prebiotics, and essential vitamins.

Gardenia’s new Chocolate Malt Drink is available at all major supermarkets in Singapore, including FairPrice online, Sheng Shiong, pandamart grocer, and RedMart by Lazada.
