When the school term starts to become increasingly hectic, there’s nothing like good and affordable food to lift your spirits. Thankfully, for Nanyang Polytechnic students, Get Grilled offers Western food on campus at pocket-friendly prices!Â

Get Grilled is known for homely Western fare that comes loaded with sides, with nothing on the menu priced above $5. This store is managed by Zachary, an alumnus of NYP, who graduated back in 2020. His love for his alma mater, and a deep passion for cooking, inspired his return to NYP to start his business in April this year.Â
Many NYP students love the Grilled Chicken Chop ($5), which sees a thick slab of grilled chicken, slathered in your choice of black pepper or brown sauce. You also get to choose two sides, including fries, mashed potatoes, sautéed mushrooms and more, to go with your main dish.
Another popular dish among students is the Chicken Cutlet ($5), which is fried to golden-brown goodness, while tender within. It comes with two side dishes of your choice as well.

The item that’ll be easiest on your budget is the Fried Rice With Wing ($4.50). Being the most affordable item in their menu, this dish offers a sizable portion of fried rice alongside a crispy chicken wing.Â
For something extra, get some finger food to share with your besties, including Cheese Fries ($2.80), Popcorn Chicken ($3.50), and more!
