The next time you’re in the CBD and craving some legit Korean food, consider visiting Gogi Buffet Korean BBQ. A convenient two-minute walk from Maxwell MRT Station, this Tanjong Pagar restaurant offers a value-for-money K-BBQ buffet, priced at just $23++ per person for a weekday lunch.
Visit from Monday to Friday, 12pm to 2:30pm, to enjoy the buffet at its cheapest: $23++ per person. Otherwise, it’s $32++ per person for weekday dinner, as well as weekend lunch and dinner. There’s no upcharge for public holidays!
Gogi is highly rated on Google, boasting an impressive 4.9-star rating based on over 100 reviews. The service is said to be warm, and the selection of ingredients extensive: you can choose from over 50 free-flow items. Those visiting for dinner can look forward to a wider range of ingredients, with premium picks including LA Galbi AKA LA-style grilled beef short ribs.
Besides marinated meats including beef, pork, and chicken, there’s also a banchan section for you to check out. These items are included in the buffet, with unlimited servings.
Expect the likes of tteokbokki, japchae, and pa-jeon: Korean-style chives pancake.
Gogi Buffet is said to be run by a Korean owner who’s been residing in Singapore for a while. They have another outlet in Thomson, though we’re unsure if the buffet details are the same.
