Haagen-Dazs Collabs With Famous French Pastry Chef To Launch Macaron Ice Cream, Get A Free Scoop Now

Haagen-Dazs has new macaron ice cream with Pierre Hermé

Heads up, if you’ve got a sweet tooth: Haagen-Dazs has a new Macaron Ice Cream Collection that’s launched in collaboration with famous French pastry chef Pierre Hermé! This weekend, pop by the Orchard store for a cheeky scoop or two, as the shop is decked out as a chic, Parisan-inspired garden for a limited time only.

In case you didn’t know, Pierre Hermé is renowned for his French macarons. Hailed the “Picasso of Pastries”, the pastry chef has even written a cookbook that’s all about nailing the dainty macaron recipe.

There are three new macaron-infused ice cream flavours as part of the series: Double Chocolate Ganache, Strawberry & Raspberry, and Yuzu & Lemon. The first flavour features rich chocolate ice cream with salted dark chocolate ganache, finished with mini macaron shells. The two other flavours are great for those who prefer something fruitier.

Try them at Haagen Dazs outlets across the island, priced at $5.90 for a single scoop, $10.90 for double, and $13.90 for triple. If you want to enjoy it at home, they’re also available by the pint across major supermarkets. Prices can vary.

In celebration of the collection, the brand has rolled out limited-run dessert creations that incorporate the new ice cream with macarons that are specially flown in from France. These sweet treats are available at all Haagen-Dazs shops.

Beat the heat with a refreshing smoothie in the form of the Yuzu Macaron Crush ($11.90). The creamy and tangy milkshake is made-to-order, comprising the new Yuzu & Lemon ice cream, citrusy swirls of yuzu curd, and a yellow macaron shell.

There’s also a tangy Berry Love Macaron Smoothie ($11.90) made with Strawberry & Raspberry ice cream, finished with scoops of berry sorbet and a pink macaron shell.

Those who want something more indulgent can try the Mocha Macaron Frappe ($11.90) instead. This caffeinated pick-me-up comprises iced coffee, Double Chocolate Ganache ice cream, and Salted Caramel Cappuccino ice cream.

Alternatively, get the Macaron Kiss Cone ($12.90), a specially curated dessert comprising your Macaron Ice Cream flavour of choice with a matching sorbet or ice cream, topped with crunchy macaron shells, fruit puree, or sauce.

From now till 31 May 2023, get a free scoop of Macaron Ice Cream at Haagen-Dazs’ VOCO Orchard store! Simply visit their IG page, use the “Which Macaron Ice Cream Flavour Are You” filter, and share it on your Instagram Stories. Remember to tag the brand and present the IGS to the staff to redeem your free scoop based on the filter results!
