Haidilao has $15.80++ sushi buffet at Wisma Atria

If you’re debating which Haidilao outlet to visit for your next hotpot feast, the Wisma Atria outlet has just strengthened its case with the introduction of its outlet-exclusive Sushi Buffet, available from Mondays to Thursdays.

This buffet will set you back a mere $15.80++ per person, but you’ll need to meet two minimum requirements to gain access to it. Firstly, you’ll need to be a Haidilao member, which is relatively easy to sign up for and completely free, and secondly, each customer must order at least one-quarter of a soup base.

There seems to be a decent range of sushi here, with around 30 sushi options to choose from. Haidilao’s promo materials indicate that Lobster Salad Gunkan and Butter Soup Sushi are some of their standout picks. We also see the likes of Salmon Sushi, Unagi Sushi, and Abalone Maki available here. The variety caters to a range of tastes, from seafood fans to those seeking more unique flavours.

Unfortunately, we did not get to try their Lobster Salad Gunkan and Butter Soup Sushi when we were there—the sushi options vary from hour to hour, to ensure that only the freshest items are served.

However, we did get to try all the other sushi on display when we were there. Though the sushi was more similar to those you’ll find at supermarkets—fresh enough yet nothing out of the norm—I’d say they’re still pretty worth it for their price point, considering how you get unlimited servings.

Do note that there will be a 90-minute time limit for this buffet, and an additional $10++ will be charged for every 100g of sushi left uneaten. But don’t worry too much about that if you’re able to pace yourself and eat comfortably within the time frame.

While you’re at it, be sure to enjoy those sushi with Haidilao’s iconic hotpot experience. With excellent soup bases including tomato, mushroom, and mala, you can enjoy dishes such as the Signature Mashed Shrimp Wah ($14.85++) and HaiDiLao-Flavored Beef ($11.88++) to their fullest.
