If you had joined the snaking line for Hang Heungās famed Wife Cakes when they first opened at ION Orchard, youāll be pleased to know that they have opened a new takeaway kiosk at Basement One of Raffles City Shopping Centre!

The famous bakeryās newest outpost has just started operations today, 7 January, with the same menu of freshly baked Wife Cakes and assorted pastries baked on-site. However, the smaller space means not everything is available for sale each day.

Unlike the bigger outlet at ION Orchard, which has feature walls in the walk-in shop space, Hang Heungās new takeaway kiosk is a simple counter in the basement food hall of Raffles City Shopping Centre.

Prices remain consistent at $2.80 each or $15 for a box of six Wife Cakes, while Red Bean Paste Cakes and Mini Egg Yolk Cakes are priced at $2.50 each. Other must-buys include the Handmade Egg Rolls ($25.80), which you probably should get now, ahead of the CNY rush.

Do note that each customer is only limited to purchasing four boxes, or 24 pieces of fresh pastries.
While the queue situation at ION Orchard has somewhat died down for now, we think that it may pick up again as we get closer to the CNY festive season. Otherwise, head to their online store to order, and get your lao po bing, egg rolls, and other traditional bakes delivered. Delivery is free with every $150 spent.
If youāre heading to Raffles City to get your Hang Heung fix, hop over to Capitol Piazza for Carmenās Best ice cream, or head to Buffet Town for free-flow sashimi and teppanyaki!
Address: 252 North Bridge Road, #B1-68, Raffles City Shopping Centre, Singapore 179103
