If you’re looking for more affordable eats in the Orchard area, we’ve got just the spot for you. A new Hawkers’ Street food court has opened in the basement of TANGS at Tang Plaza, with a lineup stacked with six Michelin-approved stalls alongside nine other popular names. This is said to be the largest Hawkers’ Street outlet yet!

Fei Fei Roasted Noodle has an outlet here, which means you won’t have to travel to Jurong East for a taste. A consistent fixture in the Michelin Bib Gourmand, this stall is known for its excellent char siew noodles. The char siew is tender and evenly run through with melt-in-your-mouth fat, with springy egg noodles that are generously coated in a sweet sauce and house-made chilli.

You’ll find another Jurong East classic here: Hup Hong Chicken Rice. As expected from a stall of this calibre, you’ll find juicy chicken paired with rice that’s both fragrant and full of flavour.

The legendary Springleaf Prata Place has also set up shop here. Known for its crispy kosong prata and innovative dishes such as the Murtaburger and Plaster Blaster, this stall is a no-brainer if you’re looking for your prata fix in town.

Like at some of the other Hawkers’ Street branches, Tai Wah Pork Noodle is serving its iconic bak chor mee here. Not to be mistaken for the Michelin one-starred Hill Street Tai Hwa Pork Noodle, this stall has earned acclaim in its own right, with a consistent presence on the Bib Gourmand list.

Other well-known stalls here include Hwa Heng Beef Noodle, Hill Street Hainanese Curry Rice, Tai Seng Fish Soup and more. Be sure to check out this new food court when you’re in the area!
