HEYTEA Is Opening Their Third Outlet At Jurong Westgate

“East side, best side” may no longer be the case when it comes to the food scene, as more and more food stalls are opening up at Jurong! Besides Beauty In The Pot, Westgate will also be bringing in the famous China tea brand, HEYTEA.

Currently only located at ION Orchard and Clarke Quay, HEYTEA has brought upon snaking long queues since they first opened in November 2018. 

Aside from shaking up toothsome cheese teas and fruit teas, HEYTEA is also known for coming up with wacky ice-cream flavours, including Salted Egg Yolk and Guiness. The latter is only available at the Clarke Quay outlet, which also pushes out alcoholic BBT for partygoers. 

If you’re new to HEYTEA, their King Fone Cheezo Tea ($5.50) won’t make you regret standing in line. The oolong tea is smooth, with a strong floral fragrance. It’s further uplifted by the salty layer of cheese foam.

For something a little sweeter, then the Very Strawberry Cheezo ($8.70) will suit your taste buds. Made with fresh strawberries, the drink is bright, and has a mix of textures.

My personal favourite weapon to combat Singapore’s sweltering heat is the Orange Bloom ($6.80). Here, orange and lemon are infused into jasmine tea, giving the drink a citrusy, floral aroma that’s absolutely refreshing. It’s like drinking orange juice on steroids. 

Like most BBT joints, you can customise the sweetness and ice levels of your drink. You can also opt out of the cheese foam if you prefer, but we recommend adding it in for a savoury touch to your drink.

We don’t expect alcohol to be served at this outlet, so if you want to party up and get boozy over bubble tea, do swing by HEYTEA Clarke Quay instead. This outlet features tea brews mixed with alcohol such as tequila and Choya.
