Singaporeans can’t seem to get enough of malatang (for good reason), and luckily for us, a new spot is coming to town. Hi Bowl is a malatang concept by the legendary Haidilao, so you know it’s going to be the real deal.Â
Opening on 3 November 2026 in Rochor, the new restaurant offers over 100 ingredients to choose from. Night owls will also be happy to hear that it stays open till 1am daily, making it a perfect spot for a midnight meal.
For those who love trying new foods, you can look forward to less-common ingredients and seasonal items such as purple radish, black tofu, ice plant, carrot noodles and more. Â
After taking your pick, you can further customise with five soup bases and two dry bases. Soup lovers can go for Mala Milk Soup Base, Golden Sichuan Pickles Soup Base, Sichuan Mala Soup Base, Tomato Soup Base, and Golden Collagen Soup Base.Â
Alternatively, dry options include the Dongbei Creamy Mala Mix and Signature Mala Mix. Prices are charged at $2.98 per 100g. And if things get a little too heated, you can even get free-flow soft drinks for an affordable $2++.
Unlike its competitors, Hi Bowl also serves fried skewers and sides. You’ll find a variety, with vegetable skewers at $1++ each, while pork, beef, chicken, and lamb skewers are $1.50++ each.Â
You’ll also find Fried Shrimp Prawn Paste Chicken Wings ($8.80++) and Fried Crispy Pork ($8.80++). The most unique, however, is the Fried Milk ($4.80++), a traditional Cantonese dessert featuring a sweet milky custard, battered, then deep-fried.
Don’t miss out on the opening promotions: get 50% off a second bowl on 3 November 2026, 40% off a second bowl on 4 November 2026, and 30% off a second bowl on 5 November 2026. These deals are valid for dine-in only.Â
