IKEA Has New High Tea Set For Two, Available Daily At Only $7.90

IKEA high tea and more

IKEA Jurong opened to much anticipation last year. While the fanfare has since faded a tad, West-siders will be happy to know that IKEA has launched a Jurong-exclusive, IKEA High Tea Set For 2, available at only $7.90 daily.

Sets are available at the IKEA Jurong Cafe, and are while stocks last. You can get your hands on them from 3pm to 5pm. Each set contains their signature apple cake, muffin, and chocolate cake with crunchy caramel, as well as two premium teas. While the IKEA high tea set may not be as atas as the tiered versions we see at cafes, you can’t beat the value and price.

Another IKEA Jurong exclusive to look forward to is the FAMILY Platter ($22.90). As its name suggests, this dinnertime dish is made to feed a fam of two, as it comes with a lamb shank, a grilled chicken leg, two spring rolls, French fries, and mixed vegetables. Two Loka drinks seal the deal. This is only available from 5pm to 7pm, from Mondays to Fridays.

Do note that these sets aren’t permanent, and will only be on the menu till 31 May.

Outside of the high tea and family meal, IKEA is also bringing back a handful of dishes to celebrate Hari Raya. These include their Lamb Shank Rendang, served with a Mushroom Soup for $19.50. Their Ondeh Ondeh Cake ($3.50) has also made a comeback.

For something indulgent, try the Beef Cheek Rendang with Mashed Potato and Mushroom Soup ($18.50), another exclusive available till 3 May only. This stars melt-in-your-mouth beef cheek, slow-cooked with rendang spices. The dish also comes with mixed vegetables.

IKEA also has an all-new paella menu, with Chicken ($10.90), and Seafood ($14.90) paellas on the menu, from 5pm onwards every Wednesday. This dish will appear on the menu till 25 May.

Only the high tea and family platter are IKEA Jurong exclusives. The other dishes are available at IKEA outlets islandwide. Family Cardmembers also get discounts on said food items.
