1. Tajimaya Yakiniku


For a BBQ night with a view, try out Tajimaya Yakiniku located at Great World and VivoCity, which gives you an entire view of Sentosa’s beautiful boardwalk. 

Their Tasting Platter ($99.80++) will definitely appeal to those who like variety, as it comes with nine cuts of meat ranging from A5 Saga Striploin to Kurobuta Pork Belly. Completing the meal are side dishes including Garlic Fried Rice, House Salad, Tempura, Miso Soup, and Chawanmushi. For those looking to share, they have the same set for two, priced at $198.80++

Apart from the yakiniku option, they also have the Sashimi Moriawase ($48.90++), which is a sashimi platter that includes eight different types of seafood—this means there’ll surely be something for everyone.

2. Keyaki, Pan Pacific Singapore


Take a trip back to Japan as you soak in the cultural atmosphere here at Keyaki. Hidden amidst a Japanese rooftop garden on the fourth floor of Pan Pacific Singapore, Keyaki serves a plethora of Japanese dishes ranging from sashimi, to somen, and even Wagyu beef.

With eight dining outlets islandwide, IPPUDO is a popular global ramen chain that originated in Japan. Choose from their wide variety of ramen flavours, including the global signature classic Shiromaru Motoaji (from $14.86++) made with their signature tonkotsu broth, or the Akamaru Shinaji (from $15.85++) featuring the addition of uniquely blended miso paste. 

There are also Singapore exclusives, such as the Bonito Tonkotsu (from $17.85++) served in specially blended fish and pork broth, or Spicy Black (from $18.95++) if you like your ramen with a spicy kick instead.

4. Mitsu Sushi Bar

8. Ichiban Sushi


For those who want an affordable fix of Japanese food, Ichiban Sushi is the spot for you. Mentaiko lovers should try their Salmon Mentai Roll ($13.90++), featuring seared salmon topped with a layer of spicy cod roe mayo. One of their new menu items includes the Yuzu Orange Tori Karaage ($8.50++). 9. Douraku Sushi


Hidden within TungLok Seafood at d’Arena is Douraku Sushi, which boasts a spacious and luxurious interior. For a mix of both cooked and raw sushi options, go straight for the Nigiri Sushi Platter ($29++), which includes a total of nine different sushi pieces.
