Fast food crossovers with local dishes are now a certified thing with Jollibee launching their new Nasi Lemak Chickenjoy.
The Chickenjoy is Jollibee’s most famous menu item, where crispy, juicy, hand-breaded fried chicken comes served with a side of signature sauce. For this local exclusive, the Chickenjoy will be served with coconut rice, crispy ikan billis, a hard-boiled egg, and spicy sambal, all for $5.
Choose from either the Original chicken or the Spicy chicken to go with your nasi lemak, or order it as a set with just a $1 top-up for a soft drink.
While this is new to Singaporean diners, the set was formerly spotted at Jollibee Brunei, and was given decent reviews on social media by those that tried it.
The new Nasi Lemak Chickenjoy will be available at all Jollibee outlets islandwide, as well as on delivery platforms like GrabFood, FoodPanda and Deliveroo.
Currently, there are 10 Jollibee outlets in Singapore to visit, including Paya Lebar Square, Jurong East MRT Station, Suntec City and Waterway Point.
Jollibee also has another promotion, where you can get a 2-piece Chickenjoy and Jolly Spaghetti Value Meal for just $25, and bag a limited edition Funko POP figurine with the brand’s mascot. This will only run while stocks last or till 24 November 2020, at selected outlets only.
