With their first Singaporean outlet in 2003 at Lucky Plaza, Jollibee is a relatively young entrant to the fried chicken scene in Singapore. This Filipino fried chicken fast food chain has since expanded quickly, and is set to open their 9th branch at Suntec City this weekend on 26 October 2019.

This outlet is going to be its first in the CBD, and will offer the same crispy fried chicken goodness that everyone has come to love. You will find favourites such as their 2-pc Chickenjoy w/Rice set ($6.95) and 1-pc Chickenjoy w/Jolly Spaghetti set ($6.95).Â
For those who might be unfamiliar with Jollibee, this popular fried chicken chain is the largest fast food chain in the Philippines and has more than 1,000 stores.
Amazingly, Jollibee is even more popular than fast food giants such as McDonald’s in the Philippines. This can mainly be attributed to how the locally opened brand dishes up sweet and spicy flavours that Filipinos are accustomed to.

There are loads of freebies for those who visit the Suntec City outlet on opening day. The first five customers will get a limited edition Jollibee Funko Pop that you can display on your desk and declare your allegiance to this Filipino fried chicken chain. The other 95 in the queue will also get an adorable Jollibee drawstring bag that comes with a 3D plushie of the brand’s famous bee mascot.Â

For those who are too lazy to get in line, you can also purchase the Funko Pop figurine at all Jollibee outlets. This 2019 Philippines Independence Day exclusive merchandise will be going for $25, and comes with a 1-pc Chicken Joy w/Jolly Spaghetti Value Meal.Â
We’re sure that this fried chicken chain will draw in quite a crowd this weekend, so be sure to head down early.
