āJurong East? Wah need to bring passport ah?ā Westies, Iām sure youāve heard this joke way too many times. As a West-sider myself, my area of residence has been the butt of many jokes, and nothing beats that connection you get with someone when you realise both of you are fellow Westies. Even though the East gets loads of credit for housing hipster cafes, Jurong isnāt that far off either. Weāve got our fair share of cafes, and here are some worth checking out.
