“Jurong East? Wah need to bring passport ah?” Westies, I’m sure you’ve heard this joke way too many times. As a West-sider myself, my area of residence has been the butt of many jokes, and nothing beats that connection you get with someone when you realise both of you are fellow Westies. Even though the East gets loads of credit for housing hipster cafes, Jurong isn’t that far off either. We’ve got our fair share of cafes, and here are some worth checking out.
