We’ve reached the middle of the month which means for most of us, our bank accounts are starting to feel the squeeze. Just as our spending power is making its rapid descent from triple to double digits, KFC’s here to save our wallets and tummies, with their brand new $4.95 Lunch Box.
With just a single green Yusof Ishak, you’ll be able to sink your teeth into a meal that includes:
So that’s five items for under $5! For reference, most nasi padang stalls will charge you upwards of $6 if you even dare to order two pieces of meat. As such, this lunch box is an absolute steal for those who are trying to tighten their purse strings.
You can even choose between Original Recipe or Hot & Crispy chicken, and swap your crispy fries with the amazing Cheese Fries at an extra cost.
That being said, there is a lil’ catch. The offer is only available from 11am to 4pm every day, so it’s best to make a beeline to your nearest KFC outlet once lunch hits. Unfortunately, if your nearest KFC outlet is at Kidzania, Sentosa, Singapore Zoo or Jewel Changi Airport, you gotta find someplace else as this promo isn’t available there. You’re also limited to three lunch boxes for dine-in, and only one lunch box if you’re ordering in.
While you’re at KFC, be sure to try their new Saucy Wings which come in two flavours, Garlickin’ Soy and Chillickin’ Hot. The former has a rich garlicky aroma while the latter boasts a mild spiciness and sweetness. You can get ‘em in the Zinger ‘N Wings Box ($10.95), which comes with four Saucy Wings, a Zinger Burger, a regular whipped potato, coleslaw and a cup of regular Pepsi Black.
