Fans will be glad to know that the KOI Vanilla Milk TeaSeries has finally made a comeback this weekend, as the bubble tea stall is bringing back two vanilla-based drinks to all KOI Express outlets islandwide.

There are two drinks in this collection — a classic Vanilla Milk Tea, and a Vanilla Green Milk Tea. Both are perfumed with the sweetness of vanilla and given depth by your tea of choice.

The regular Vanilla Milk Tea uses the standard tea base of KOI’s Milk Tea drinks, while the Vanilla Green Milk Tea is a much lighter, floral version thanks to the use of green tea. Both drinks cost $4 for a medium size, and $5.30 for a large size, without toppings.

While fans are glad to have the KOI Vanilla Milk Tea back, many are wondering why they are only available at KOI Express outlets. Currently, there are ten of these kiosks islandwide, located at Plaza Singapura, City Square Mall, Takashimaya, Raffles City Shopping Centre, Tampines Central, Bishan Junction 8, 313@Somerset, Boon Lay MRT Station, Northpoint, and more.
If you don’t have a KOI Express outlet near you, then tide yourself over by giving their latest Biscuit Milk Tea a try instead. Hailing from Taiwan, this milk tea is topped with Lotus Biscoff and Milo crumbs for extra texture. It is priced at $4.90.
In other bubble tea news, Tiger Sugar has opened a new outlet in Bishan Street 13. Gongcha has also introduced a collaboration with Haagen Dazs, selling BTFs, or bubble tea floats.
If you prefer a more DIY approach to your BBT fix, then watch our recipe video for old school bubble tea drinks, including the nostalgic Blue Coral flavour.
For a different kind of take on boba, try Happy Ice’s new Boba Ice Cream instead, which includes both brown sugar and taro flavours.
