If you love ban mian as much as we do, you may have heard of L32 Handmade Noodles, a popular Geylang stall specialising in freshly made ban mian, you mian, and mee hoon kueh. Easties can now head to their new Bedok outlet, an eight-minute walk from Bedok MRT Station!

L32 Handmade Noodles has been around for over 20 years; their OG Geylang stall draws queues daily for its QQ noodles and flavourful broth.

Their ban mian and you mian are handmade at the stall daily, with the help of a noodle maker that cuts the dough into strands. The mee hoon kueh is hand-pulled, so you get irregular chunks of noodles in your chosen broth, or tossed in a dark sauce.

Their Signature Pork Noodles ($5.30) are a must-try; these come with a generous pile of handmade noodles, topped with tender pork slices, minced pork, ikan billis, and fresh veggies.

There’s also the Clam Noodles ($7.50), which come with plump and briney razor clams that add a seafood-like sweetness to the dish. L32 Handmade Noodles boils their broth for up to 10 hours with anchovies, rendering a full-bodied flavour with a clean and refreshing taste.

Other highlights at this new Bedok branch include Chicken Cutlet Noodle (price TBD), Mala Dry Noodles (price TBD), and Tom Yum Noodles (price TBD).

We’ll update this story once we get more details on the prices!

In the meantime, check out our Prince Noodles review for delicious KL-style pan mee in Jalan Besar! The handmade noodles are tossed in a sweet-savoury dark sauce, and paired with a punchy house-made sambal.
