We’ve found another eatery to add to our list of must-try food places at Jewel Changi Airport: LeMa Dumpling, a new-ish eatery specialising in Taiwanese-style dumplings from just $0.80 apiece!

A new concept by Paradise Group, LeMa offers jumbo dumplings that are larger than usual, served either steamed or pan-fried.

These dumplings are said to be noticeably hefty, each weighing around 28g, compared to the usual 15g to 22g dumplings offered at most run-of-the-mill kiosks.

The Pork and Corn Dumpling ($3.95) comes in a plate of five pieces, which works out to just $0.80 per dumpling—a steal in this economy. There’s also a pan-fried version that goes for $4.45 for five pieces. Other popular picks include Prawn and Cabbage ($4.95) and Pan-Fried Pork And Chives ($4.45).

Do note that there’s a minimum order of two portions per cooking style, so if you want both poached and fried dumplings, you’ll need at least two orders of each, but you can mix and match flavours.

If you want something more filling, LeMa Dumpling also has a small lineup of mains. Must-tries include the Homemade Spicy Dry Noodle ($4.90) and Signature Dan Dan Noodles ($5.90), which feature a broth that’s mildly spicy and nutty.

Alternatively, pair your dumplings with a side of fried rice, with options such as Ham Egg Fried Rice ($7.90) and Shredded Pork Egg Fried Rice ($7.90).

Another standout feature of the space is its self-serve sauce and drink station, where diners can help themselves to LeMa’s house dumpling sauce and enjoy complimentary free-flow water chestnut and soy bean drinks.
