This New Neon-Lit Restaurant In Jalan Besar Has $19.90++ Hotpot Buffet Till 5AM

Heads up, hotpot enthusiasts: there’s a new kid in the Jalan Besar locale. Ma Ma Spin Pot is a newly opened hotpot and barbeque restaurant decked in neon lights and contemporary furnishings.

We previously reviewed Ma Ma Spin Pot in Woodlands when they first opened in 2020. The hotpot eatery has since expanded to two more locations: NTU Canteen 1 and Jalan Besar Sports Centre, their latest launch.

Enjoy hotpot buffet dinner from 5pm to 5am daily, at just $19.90++ per person. If the littles are tagging along, it’s $15.90++ per child.

Choose from over 50 types of ingredients, from meaty picks such as marinated beef and pig stomach, to an assortment of fresh veggies and frozen favourites. There’s even a small range of seafood items including clams and prawns. Check out the full list of steamboat ingredients here.

That’s not all: a free soup base is included in the buffet price! Go for the best-selling Mala and Collagen, or try something different like the Chicken with Cordyceps broth.

If you’re not up for hotpot, the Jalan Besar restaurant also offers barbecued skewers and Sze Chuan-style grilled fish.

There’s both indoor and outdoor seating, with private rooms available for booking for those in groups. If you’re dining solo, opt for the counter seat to pick the items from a conveyor belt—similar to a sushi restaurant!

Ma Ma Spin Pot Jalan Besar is located opposite Tiramisu Hero. It’s a convenient six-minute walk from Lavender MRT Station, or a seven-minute walk from Bendemeer MRT Station if you’re taking the blue line.
