The mala craze is far from over, and next to add mala into their dishes is the famous White Restaurant—commonly known as The Original Sembawang White Beehoon! Best known for their umami-rich white bee hoon, the restaurant will be adding the fiery flavours of Sichuan and peppercorn into their signature white bee hoon dish.
Their Red Mala Beehoon will feature the same signature white bee hoon stock, just that it will be infused with a house-made mala sauce for a spicy kick. The mala bee hoon will be available in both small ($9.80++) and medium ($18.80++), so you can have it all to yourself if you’re the only one at the dining table with a penchant for spice. You can also get it at all of their outlets including the one at Jewel Changi Airport!
Based on reviews online, the noodles is rich in seafood flavours, and brings upon a tingling sensation that grows with every bite. Just like the signature white bee hoon, this creation comes complete with prawns, sotong, and greens.
Fire up your taste buds even more with their all-new Glace Fiery Chicken ($15.80++ for small, $24.80++ for medium). Here, you will find crispy popcorn chicken that’s marinated in a sweet and spicy sauce! Even though it is covered with cut dried chilli, the sweetness of the sauce helps temper the spice level down.
