McDonald’s fans may have noticed promotional materials surrounding a new menu item: the Spicy Chicken Tenders (from $8.95). If you’ve been eager to try it, then today, 12 February and 13 February 2026 would be a good time to do so, as the fast-food chain is giving away FREE samples. The first 50 customers at selected outlets from 3pm to 5pm will get to redeem this new side dish for free!

Each piece features tender, juicy chicken, coated in a crisp and fiery batter that delivers a kick similar to a McSpicy. It makes for a slightly heartier alternative to chicken nuggets, and tastes like just the right snack for this festive season.

Do note that the Spicy Chicken Tenders are available at all McDonald’s outlets islandwide, excluding Changi Airport Terminal 2, Changi Airport T2 Transit Lounge, Changi Airport T3, JEWEL, Gardens By The Bay, Mandai Wildlife East, Shell Tampines, Shell Hougang, Shell Havelock, Caltex DT, and Tampines (Kiosk).

Those looking for something more filling will be glad to know that the iconic Prosperity Burger is still available. The best way to enjoy these is with the Prosperity Chicken Burger Extra Value Meal (from $8.95) or Double Prosperity Beef Burger Extra Value Meal (from $11.75).

These also come with the Twister Fries, an annual McDonald’s fave—golden brown, curled potatoes seasoned with a spice rub and deep-fried to perfection. An icy cold cup of Peach McFizz (from $3.65) is the cherry on top.

You can read more about this iconic burger and its accompanying sides via our Prosperity Burger coverage. If you’d like to collect plushie versions of these treats, read our Prosperity Pals plushies coverage.
